| Key Features | ※Focus on Cultivating Interdisciplinary Professionals The College of Intelligence is devoted to train students to use smart technology to enhance interdisciplinary business services and combine these services with financial electronic payment, blockchain and smart contracts to become the professionals needed for smart business services. Hence, the College of Intelligence established Department of Business Management with two modules, an intelligent business management module and an intelligent business technology module, to achieve the educational goal of cultivating interdisciplinary professionals.
※Establish Four Intelligent Labs
The College of Intelligence plans to build an Intelligent Healthcare Lab in accordance with the government policy of long-term healthcare 2.0 development to cooperate with hospitals and long-term healthcare institutes in middle Taiwan to provide senior citizens with high quality healthcare services. With the application of information communication technology in the medical field, the College of Intelligence is able to develop de-institutionalized healthcare services, such as smart home, smart service care, smart health recipes, health APP, fall prevention system, smart phone data collection, healthcare recommendation, etc.
The Intelligent Agricultural Lab is located on the field right behind the Han-Ying Building on campus. It adopts the most popular AI technology and the Agritalk system developed by National Chiao Tung University to remotely monitor the growth of crops (turmeric) and various environmental data to ensure the healthy growth of crops and increase crop production. Through the use of this lab, students and teachers are able to apply AI technology to the agriculture industry to achieve the goal of intelligent agriculture.
※Organize Resources and Focus on Innovative Learning The two major development directions of the College are intelligent business and health care. The College adheres to the concept of sharing and co-creation to share the teaching resources with other colleges and departments of the school. The College encourages teachers to optimize teaching quality and strengthen students' practical ability through internship experience, experimental field observation and operation, and digital learning.
| Organization | The College of Intelligence has just established in August 2019. Currently, there is only one department—The Department of Business Management.
| Faculty | There are 15 full-time faculty members in the college, including 5 professors, 4 associate professors, and 6 assistant professors.
